As a kid I loved to draw, but later when I wound up at the finest art institution in the country, I found that not only did the place fail to adequately justify the existence of the art that it taught, but that it also smelled like a butt. Now I’ve gone back to drawing the kind of things that inspired me as a kid, so that hopefully my work will someday cause another child to repeat all my mistakes.
